Our Story

How It All Began

Nomi Network was founded on a simple but powerful belief: every person deserves dignity, safety, and the chance to build a life free from exploitation. What began as a small initiative to support survivors of human trafficking in Southeast Asia has grown into a multi-country movement reaching thousands of women and girls each year.

In the early days, our founders worked directly with communities where vulnerability to trafficking was highest — places where poverty, lack of education, and limited job opportunities left people with few choices. They listened. They learned. And they built programs rooted in what communities actually needed: real skills, real income, and real connection.

Over the years, those programs evolved into two core pillars: Workforce Development (WFD), which equips individuals with vocational and entrepreneurial skills, and Product and Business (PB), which connects graduates to markets so their work reaches the world.

Today, Nomi Network operates across multiple countries, partnering with local organizations and social enterprises like Four Legs Craft — a Cambodian-based business producing handcrafted pet accessories from sustainable materials. Every product sold carries a story of resilience, and every purchase helps sustain livelihoods for people who deserve a second chance.

We are still growing, still learning, and still driven by the same belief that started it all — that lasting change happens when communities are empowered from within.
